Forget space buns! Make this gorgeous, romantic heart bun hairstyle in just a few minutes. Follow along with this simple, step-by-step tutorial.
Tools and materials:
- Hair brush or comb
- 6 hair elastics
- 2 bobby pins
1. Collect hair in a half pigtail
Part your hair down the middle.
Then, collect your hair into your first half pigtail on one side, securing it in place with a hair elastic. Pull it tightly.
2. Split and add 2 elastics
Split the pigtail into 2 equal sections. Then, tie an elastic about 3” from the root of the pigtail. Do the same on the other half of the pigtail.
3. Join each strand into a heart
Now, loop each strand to meet into a heart shape, holding them together where you placed the elastics.
Then, secure them to the scalp with a bobby pin, a bit in front of the initial pigtail.
Repeat the same process for the other pigtail, resulting in 2 adorable hearts!
