Tools and materials:
- Hairbrush
- Hair ties
- Bobby pins
- Curling iron
1. Tie pigtails
Brush your hair to remove any tangles and knots. Part your hair down the middle and create your pigtails.
2. Twist
Take one of the pigtails and separate a small section of hair.
Pin it off to the side to keep it separated for later.
Take the remaining hair in the pigtail and split it into two equal sections.
Twist these two sections around each other all the way to the bottom.
Unpin the small section of hair and hold it in one hand.
With your free hand, wrap the twisted hair around the base of the pigtail, including the small section of hair.
Use a bobby pin to secure the ends, creating a bun.
3. Curl
Grab a curling iron and curl the hair from the separated section. Once you're done, use your fingers to gently separate and tousle the curls.
To add even more edge, use a bobby pin to push some of the curls forward towards your face.
4. Repeat
Repeat steps 2 and 3 for the second pigtail on the right side of your head.
