Tools and materials:
- Brush
- Hair elastics
1. Braids
With your hair parted at the center, take the hair from the front of one side and make a braid going to the back of the head.
Clip it in place and do the same to the other side.
Join the braids at the back of the head and tie them together with a hair elastic.
2. More texture
Gather two more small sections of hair from the front of the hair and tie them together loosely over the strands of hair from the braid. Then tug at the hair on the sides to add some volume.
Repeat this step over and over until you’ve tied back all your hair, tying each section over the previous one.
Continue to tug at the hair at the sides of each section.
3. Finishing touches
Tug at the edges of the braid to add more volume there too.
You can add a vintage-style clip to the back of the head where the first braids meet to finish off the look.
