How to Do a Top Knot Bun
Another day, another top knot hack! Am I right?
Whether you’re busy and need a super quick hairstyle or you just love the look, follow along to learn how to do a top knot bun in no time!
Tools and materials:
- 2 hair ties
1. Make a half-pony loop bun
Pull your hair into a half-ponytail but on the last loop, pull the hair through only halfway, creating a loop bun.
Then fluff the bun out to the sides.
2. Make a small topsy tail
Tie the tail end and make an opening above the hair tie, like this:
Then flip the small tail up and inside the opening.
3. Wrap the bun
Now pull the opening back and over the loop bun. Tuck the ends underneath the other hair tie.
The result is a high volume top knot bun:
