Add a beautiful gold chain to your closet. This golden chain is a timeless accessory that completes any look!

Tucked in shirt

1. Tuck in your shirt

Style tip number one is to tuck in your shirt. I don't care what size you are; tucking in your shirt will make your outfit look 10 million times better.

You could also do the half tuck — either option is great. This trick creates a waistline. It literally takes 2 seconds to do, and I promise it will make all the difference in your looks.

Another hack related to this one is to wear a bodysuit. Bodysuits stay tucked in without you even having to tuck them in, and there's also no bunching going on, so it’s a great option.

Outfits with belts

2. Add a belt

All stylish and elegant women always wear belts because they really complete an outfit, and I think it makes a world of difference. I promise that I will take adding a belt to your outfit to the next level.

3. Only wear one trend piece at a time

I see many women trying too hard by combining too many trend pieces in the same outfit.

What you want to do is choose one trend piece in your outfit and make everything else a classic wardrobe essential. The trend piece in this outfit is the denim bomber jacket, and I paired it with a two-piece set.

4. Add a jacket

This might be my favorite tip of all time because it works every time: adding a third layer—aka a jacket.

It could be a denim jacket, a leather jacket, or a blazer—whatever you like. I promise you, ladies, adding a third layer to your looks is guaranteed to take it to the next level.

5. Add a neck stack

The next tip is to layer your necklaces and wear a scoop neck or a v-neck to show them off. What this will do is elongate the top portion of your body, and the necklaces will always add interest to your outfit.

6. Learn how to dress for your body type

You need to know what your favorite aspect of your body is. If it's your bust, you should wear scoop necks and v-necks all the time.

If you have an hourglass figure and your waist is the most flattering part of your body, you will want to show that off. Maybe you have fabulous legs.

Well, then guess what: You should wear shorter skirts and shorter dresses.

7. Accentuate, balance and camouflage

The ABC rule is: accentuate, balance, and camouflage. Accentuate refers to knowing your best features and how to highlight them.

Balance would be creating balance in your outfit, so if you're showing skin on the top, you want to cover the bottom portion of your body and vice versa.

Camouflage is just like it sounds - wearing clothes that cover up that portion of your body.

Gold heels

8. Pay attention to your shoes

I can't tell you how important your shoes are in your outfit. They don't have to be designer or expensive, but they have to look new, be high quality, and be interesting.

Also, if you can handle a heel, it is always going to look better because it's going to make you appear taller and make your legs look longer.

9. Make yourself feel good

Only wear clothes that make you feel confident and like the best version of yourself. Pay attention to which items make you feel most comfortable and which outfits attract the most compliments.

When you wear something that boosts your self-esteem, you’ll naturally receive more praise because your positive energy will shine through.

Discover what lifts your mood and enhances your confidence - these are the pieces you should be wearing more often.

Courageous, classy, confident

10. Identify your personal style

Last but not least, pick three words that identify your personal style, and then every day before you get dressed ask yourself: do these clothes or does this outfit make me feel like these three words that I want to embody?

My three words are confident, classy and courageous. Anytime I get dressed I ask myself “Does this piece of clothing make me feel confident, does it make me feel classy and does it make me feel courageous.” And if the answer is no, I don't wear it. It really is that simple.
