1. Choose and cut your ribbon
Choose a ribbon color or pattern that matches or coordinates well with your favorite cardigan.
Cut the ribbon about 18 to 24 inches in length.
2. Attach the ribbon
Unbutton your cardigan and slide one end of your ribbon through the top buttonhole of your cardigan.
Now button your cardigan back up.
Tie your ribbon into a bow, and leave the rest of your cardigan buttons open.
