Curl your eyelashes to look longer with this AMAZING eyelash curler that Amazon reviewers swear by!

1. Curl your eyelashes

Start by curling your eyelashes. This is a key step since lifting your eyelashes will expose the area that we want to darken.

2. Tightline with liquid eyeliner

Look down into a mirror and raise your eyebrows to stretch the skin so you can see your top waterline. Then gently use the tip of the eyeliner to coat your upper waterline, which is a flesh color, keeping it as close to the root of your eyelashes as possible.

Tightlining is a great eyeliner hack for hooded eyes because it means you can achieve the look of wearing eyeliner without losing any of your lid space.

An added bonus is that darkening the eyelash line makes your lashes appear fuller.

3. Apply mascara

Apply your favorite mascara generously. For specifics on the best way to apply mascara to make your eyelashes look longer, check out my easy eyelash hack.

Here you can see both eyes with mascara but only the “after” has the tightlining.

I use the Wet n Wild Megaliner. Just make sure to keep it at the root of your eyelashes and not quite so close the eyeball or it’ll run into your eye.

I already use this trick, but I am glad to know which eyeliner to use without transfer issues. Thanks so much!
