Soft Glam Makeup Tutorial

Check out this easy party makeup for beginners before your next outing, date or party. In this soft glam makeup tutorial, I’ll show you the step-by-step process to create the look for yourself!

I’ve already applied my base makeup for the perfect canvas to start this soft glam makeup tutorial.

You can also prep your hair with curlers for volume if you’d like. Use your go-to products (foundation, concealer, blush) and then continue with step 1. 

Tools and materials: 

• Assorted makeup brushes
• Tan, dark brown, yellow-orange, gold shimmer eyeshadows
• Brown eyeshadow stick
• Eyeliner pen
• Mascara
• False lashes set
• Lip liner
• Lipstick
• Lip gloss
• Bronzer

1. Apply tan eyeshadow

Brush a light, tan eyeshadow shade across your mobile lids for the base.

2. Use an eyeshadow stick

Next, apply a brown shade of eyeshadow stick to your lids.

3. Apply dark brown shadow at the crease and blend it down

Apply a dark brown shade, mostly at the crease and fading into the brown eyeshadow stick on your lids.

4. Apply a yellow-orange eyeshadow at the brow bone

Sweep a yellow-orange eyeshadow in a bow shape at the brow bone, above the brown shadows.

5. Apply gold shimmer eyeshadow

Layer on a gold shimmer eyeshadow, applying it with your finger to your mobile lids.

6. Line your eyes

Use an eyeliner pen to line your upper lashes.

Then use your brown eyeshadow stick to line your lower lash lines.

Soften and blend this with a small brush.

7. Apply mascara

Darken your lashes with mascara.

8. Apply false lashes

This soft glam tutorial would not be complete without a major lashes moment! Apply false lashes according to the instructions on the package.

9. Line your lips

Line your lips in a shade just slightly darker than your natural lip color.

10. Apply lipstick

Apply a pinkish brown lipstick.

11. Apply lip gloss

Apply a nude/pink lip gloss to the middle of your lower lip and gently blend it with your finger.

12. Apply bronzer

Apply bronzer to your upper cheekbones, above the blush.
