Use Napkins and Walmart Sneakers for This Brilliant Idea
In this tutorial, I’m going to show you how to decorate a pair of sneakers using napkins and Mod Podge.
I love using unconventional techniques to create beautiful things, and this technique does just that.
Grab a pair of plain white sneakers and I’ll show you how to take them to the next level.
Tools and materials:
- Sneakers
- Napkins
- Mod Podge
- Paintbrush
- Scissors
1. Separate napkins
Start by separating the two layers of the napkin.
2. Apply Mod Podge to sneakers
The next step is to apply Mod Podge to the front of your sneakers.
3. Stick napkins to shoes
Next, take the top patterned layer of the napkin and stick it to your shoes.
4. Tear napkin
Gently tear the excess napkin away from the sneakers so that they neatly fit the shape of the sneakers.
5. Cut away excess
Proceed to cut away the napkin from on top of your laces.
6. Apply Mod Podge
Finish off by applying Mod Podge on top of the napkins.

Here are the finished decorated sneakers. I went for napkins with a Halloween print on them, but you can opt for whatever design you want to fit any occasion.
The Mod Podge makes the napkins apply beautifully and gives them a really professional-looking finish.
