1. Gather
Gather some hair from the top half of your head like you’re about to make a half-ponytail.
2. Use both hands
Use 1 hand to hold the hair at the base of the half-ponytail. Use the other hand to bring the ends up, over and around the base like you would if you were making a bun.
3. Create a twist
Tuck the ends under the newly created bun, then use both hands to open up the twist of hair. The twist will create a circle.
4. Pin it
Push the hairpin into 1 side of the circle. Bring it under the hair in the center and back out through the other side of the circle.
5. Add volume
Tug around the edges of the twisted circle to add some volume.
