I have been nursing for 3 years of my life and one of the hardest outfits to wear is a dress. Think about it, in order to breastfeed in a dress you essentially need to completely undress! If you have a dress with a low neckline, that might work or you can wear biker shorts, but I found another solutions. (I should also point out that I refuse to by pregnancy/nursing specific clothes and I think they are a marketing scam!)

I had this simple dress that is great for pairing with a kimono or t shirt and I realized it was double layered!

Don't judge my 6 month post partum body too harshly.

I pulled up one layer, grabbed a pair of scissors and just cut some holes!

Ok I could have probably measured it just right but to be honest no one is going to see it anyway.

Now I have a breast feeding friendly base dress and no one will be the wiser! Plus I was able to reuse something I already had in my closet, win win!

Suggested materials:
  • Double layer dress
  • Scissors
