1. Under the part
Move a thin layer of your parted hair over to the other side of your head so you can access the hair beneath.
2. Crimp
Gather a small section of hair and hold it out. Take a crimping iron and crimp the roots of your hair as close as possible to the scalp.
3. Repeat
Repeat the above steps over small sections of hair. Then comb your part in place as normal so the hair you had moved aside covers the crimping. Then repeat the process on the other side.
