How To Dress For The Beach

I know it can be a struggle to choose the perfect outfit to wear to the beach and then decide on all the accessories to pair with it.

The best colour of clothing to wear would be white as not only does it look sophisticated and summery, there are practical reasons too… it reflects light from the sun keeping the heat at bay!

I would say a linen dress or shorts with vest top would be an option you can’t go wrong with.

However if you want to go for something a bit different but just as elegant, then a linen playsuit. It’s easy as it’s all in one and you don’t have to think of what needs to match. 

You will find some have a halter style neck which would be a good idea if you wanted to wear a bikini underneath.

I’ve found the perfect one from Vita Grace, it tickets all the boxes!

White, linen, halter neck and it even has pretty scalloped edge detailing which is on theme for the seaside. 

This is where you can add a pop of colour with your accessories or if you like stick to an all white outfit… like I did.

You could pair this playsuit with denim jackets or sandals, or even tan sandals and a raffia bag.

However, I chose to wear a pearl handbag with a pair of white woven style flat sling-backs. 

For jewellery I decided to stick to the shell / pearl theme. I wore a pearl pendant necklace with a pearl ankle bracelet. For earrings I added a statement pair. Large shell pearlescent ones with a diamanté stud. 

This is one of my favourite beach outfits I’ve worn so I will definitely recreate this look when I go again. The outfit is breathable, elegant and comfortable, which is all you need in an outfit!
