Amazing DIY to Keep Your Glasses and Shades Clean

POV: It’s sweltering outside but you protect your skin from the sun by applying sunscreen. Then you put on your sunglasses and they get smudged by the grease!


Follow along to make this clever DIY that will keep your glasses and shades clean all summer long.

Tools and materials:  

  • Isopropyl alcohol
  • Small spray bottle
  • Wish soap
  • Cloth paper towel
Dirty glasses

1. Add isopropyl alcohol

Fill a small, spray bottle about ¾ of the way full with isopropyl alcohol.

2. Add clear dish soap

Add a few squeezes of clear dish soap.

3. Add water

Top off the rest of the bottle with tap water. Put on the lid and shake well to combine the ingredients.

4. Use your DIY glasses cleaner

Spray generously onto your glasses, front and back and wipe with a clean, microfiber towel or cloth paper towel.
