Adding sequins to ponytail

1. Ponytail and sequin ribbon

Pull your hair back into a low ponytail.

Take a sequin ribbon and wrap it around the base of the ponytail from the center of the ribbon, over the hair elastic.

Adding sequins to ponytail

Wrap it around the hair elastic a few times to cover it up.

2. Criss-cross and wrap the ribbon

Bring each end of the sequin ribbon behind the ponytail, criss-crossing them, and bringing them back to the front.

As you make your way down the ponytail separate a section of hair from each side.

Then wrap the ribbon around the rest of the ponytail leaving the new sections out.

You can clip the removed sections up to keep them out of the way.

3. Create a textured effect

Keep removing sections of hair from each side of the ponytail as you wrap the ribbon.

When you’re about 3 – 4 inches from the base of the ponytail you can tie off the rest of the sequin ribbon and leave it hanging.
