Black in the summer is a colour most people steer away from, however if styled right it can look classy and fit into the old money style.

Sometimes wearing black clothing can look too dark which stands out when the environment outside is colourful and the sun is shining bright. So my advice would be to wear lighter coloured clothing but paired with black accessories, whether that be shoes or a bag.

However if you did want some clothes with black featured in it then I would suggest a mainly white or cream dress / top with black detailing whether the buttons / pockets are. This adds a touch but not too much.

I often wear this combo with a top I have from Shein, which looks very expensive. This is quite an affordable choice.

Lk Bennet, which is in the more high end market, also do this style but in a dress format and once again I love styling black this way.

However if you did want to stick to white or pastel coloured outfits then a black pair of heeled sandals would look great as well as being a staple shoe in your wardrobe as it could be worn during all seasons.

A black bag would also apply for the white outfits. This looks classy and effortlessly chic.

I love wearing a Charles & Keith tweed bag with a Vita Grace white collared dress with gold button detailing.

The final black accessory which looks great in summer is sunglasses! Any shape looks great but personally I love a square cat eye shape which never goes out of style, summer after summer!
