You can easily turn a Maxi Dress into a jumpsuit in just a fews steps.

I recieved this heather gray double knit jersey blend Fabric from a sewing friend and thought it woud be great for a comfy maxi dress. The problem is once I made it, I didn't wear it as much as I thought I would. So I figured, "Why not turn it into a jumpsuit?" I love Jumpsuits and wear them nearly every day. So the decision was made to refashion it to better suit my style.

This took me about 30 min. First I cut the legs, and took a little length off the legs. Then I made some ankle bands with the fabric I took from the length and added them to the hem.

Lastly I put in a small one button placket at the back to make getting the jumpsuit on and off easier. I have a lot more details on my blog for making this placket.

I'm super happy with how it turned out. It's super comfy and fits right in with what I normally wear. Pluss it looked so much like another jumpsuit I had been "crushing" on for nearly a year.
