This bangle blank was a multi size version to fit any size and I had some left over beads that would fit nicely so I set about on a creative design.

Bangle blank

I try some small blue glass millefiori beads and see how they fit before glueing.

Beads

They come on a string which I cut and check sizes for I want it to look balanced. There are many versions of bases for DIY jewellery making and so many glass beads to choose from. Designing jewellery does gets addictive!

Trying for size

I place the bangle into a roll of tape and tissue to help me be hands free!

I arrange and then glue with two part epoxy resin which is mixed in equal pea size blobs and mixed well before applying to base.

Epoxy resin

I spread the glue into the bangle well and cover the whole base area before placing the beads in. The glue sets hard within minutes so have to act quite fast! There’s only a few minutes to rearrange if you need to.

Glued in position

Once it’s left to dry and set it’s ready to wear! How pretty and unique it is too 💙
