Here is a really simple ponytail hack if you want a classy-looking ponytail.
You only need two simple items to create this ponytail hairstyle.

1. Make a new ponytail holder
Slip a hair elastic over one claw of your hair clip, and save this new hair tool for later.
2. Make a ponytail
Use your second hair elastic to make a simple ponytail at the back of your head.
3. Flip your ponytail
Now, pull your ponytail up through the hole above your hair elastic.
4. Attach your new hair clip
Keeping your ponytail up over your head, put the hair clip claw over the base of your ponytail.
Pull the hair elastic that is attached to the hair clip over the claw to hold it in place.
Let your ponytail drop down over the hair claw, completely hiding it.
