Gossip Girl-inspired Ponytail
Hi everyone. Today, I’m going to show you how to do the iconic Serena van der Woodsen ponytail from Gossip Girl. Let’s get into it.
Tools and materials:
- Hair tie
- Bobby pin
1. Wrap the hair tie once
Pull your hair back as if you’re doing a regular mid-ponytail, but only wrap the hair tie once.
2. Split the ponytail
Split the ponytail into two and finish tying the hair tie around the top section.
3. Tighten
Tighten the ponytail.
4. Pinch for volume
Pinch and pull at the hair around your head to create some volume on top.
5. Hide the hair tie
Take a small piece of hair in your ponytail and wrap it around the hair tie to hide it. Pin it to secure.
