Get An Instant Eye Lift With This Easy Makeup Look
If you want an eye lift makeup routine, to lift your eyes, you need to consider these false eyelash tips.
Follow along to learn these tips for applying false eyelashes, and eye makeup to lift your eyes, while keeping a beautiful natural look.
I am using Ardell Natural 110 lashes for this tutorial.
Tools and materials:
- False eyelashes
- Lash glue (Duo or House of Lashes)
- Mascara
- Tweezers (regular and lash-specific, e.g., Kiss brand)
- Scissors (for trimming lashes)
- Heated lash curler
- Eyeliner (for tightlining)
1. Apply mascara
Before applying false lashes, there’s a do and a don’t.
Don’t curl your own lashes, because that curl will get in the way of a clean application of the false lashes.
But do apply mascara to your natural lashes to help blend them with the falsies later.
2. Measure the lashes
Without glue, place the false lashes on your lash line to measure how much needs to be trimmed.
Focus on cutting from the outer edge of the lash strip, not the inner corner. Make sure the inner corner of the lash sits where your natural lashes begin.
Also, make sure the lash doesn’t sit too far out, to avoid drooping.
3. Apply lash glue
Apply a thin layer of lash glue along the entire spine of the lash strip, then wait 30-45 seconds for the glue to get tacky before applying the lashes to your lash line.
4. Apply the lashes
Using tweezers, position the lashes by pressing the inner corner down first, then work your way across to the outer corner.
Make sure both the inner and outer corners are securely attached to avoid lifting.
5. Secure with tweezers
With special lash tweezers (like those from Kiss), gently press your natural lashes and the falsies together to ensure a tight, long-lasting bond.
6. Curl the lashes
If your natural lashes aren’t lifted, use a heated lash curler to gently push the falsies and your natural lashes upward.
Avoid using a traditional lash curler, as it may pull off the lashes.
7. Tightline the upper waterline
Use eyeliner to tightline your upper waterline, which helps blend the gap between your natural lashes and the false lashes, creating a seamless, natural look.
Repeat for the other eye. It’s important to measure, trim, and apply the second lash individually, as each eye may differ slightly. Adjust accordingly.
Apply a bit of mascara to your lower lashes if you wish.

By following these steps, you’ll achieve a natural, enhanced lash look without the weight or discomfort of heavier lash strips.
