How to Make Black Oil and Color Your Grays
Are you looking for a DIY natural hair dye to restore your hair’s original color?
This tutorial will guide you through a simple process to gradually increase melanin production in your hair, helping to turn gray hair back to black.
Let me show you what to do!
Tools and materials:
- Carrier oil (sesame oil/mustard oil /coconut oil)
- Amla powder
- Fenugreek seeds
- Black sesame seeds
- Almonds
- Teaspoon
- Container
- Pestle and mortar or blender
- Pan
- Hair dye brush
1. Roast the ingredients
In a pan, lightly roast 1 teaspoon of fenugreek seeds, 1 teaspoon of black sesame seeds, 1 teaspoon of amla powder, and 4 or 5 almonds for about 5 minutes.
Be careful not to burn them; just a light roast will enhance their properties.
2. Grind the ingredients
Once roasted, let them cool slightly and then grind them into a fine powder.
3. Combine with carrier oil
In a glass container, mix the ground ingredients with 200 ml of your chosen carrier oil (sesame, mustard, or coconut oil). This mixture has a shelf life of 1 month.
4. Apply the hair oil
To apply the hair oil, first ensure your hair is clean and dry. Then, using a hair dye brush, apply the oil mixture directly to your hair roots.
Gently massage your scalp for about 5 minutes to help the oil penetrate well, and then allow the oil to sit overnight for maximum absorption.
In the morning, wash your hair with a mild shampoo to remove the oil.
