Cut the Top Off Your Bottle
Cut the top off your bottle and use it as a hair styling tool. I’m going to show you how to create a gorgeous, voluminous half-bun using your bottle top.
Who knew you could elevate your hairstyles and reduce waste all at once?
Tools and materials:
- Bottle top
- Topsy tail tool
- Brush
- Bobby pins
- Hair pins
- Hair elastic
- Hair spray
1. Half-ponytail
Pull your hair back into a half ponytail. Leave some tendrils of hair at the front to frame your face.
2. Topsy tail
Take your Topsy tail hair tool and pull the half-ponytail through the loop.
3. Bottle top
Take your bottle top, with the cap removed, and slide the stick of the topsy tail through the cap opening. Pull the half-ponytail through the bottle top and remove the topsy tail.
4. Braid
With the bottle top in place at the base of the half-ponytail, braid the hair from the half-ponytail. Tie it at the end with a hair elastic.
5. Bun
Take the braid and wrap it around the bottle top to create a bun. Make sure to wrap it so the hair covers the bottle top.
6. Finishing touches
Secure the ends in place with some hair pins and bobby pins. Then use some hairspray to secure the hairstyle.
