Corset hairstyles are insanely popular right now. They look so elaborate, but as I’m about to show you, are really easy to do.
You’ll need 6 to 8 small hair ties to put this look together. The corset hairstyle works best on long hair.
Tools and materials:
- Hairbrush
- Comb
- Hair ties
1. Prepare your hair
Brush your hair smooth and part it down the center.
Grab a small piece of hair from each side at the front.
2. The first tie
Take the piece of hair from one side and pass it under your chin.
Use a hair tie to attach it to the piece on the opposite side, at just below chin level.
3. The second tie
Take a narrow piece of hair on each side, from just behind the first pieces.
This time pass it under your chin in the opposite direction from the first piece.
Attach it to the piece on the other side.
4. Keep tying
Continue taking a piece of hair from each side and passing it under your chin, alternating the direction each time.
Place each tie about 1 inch (2.5 cm) from the tie immediately above it.
Continue until you have three or four ties on each side and all the hair in front of your ears has been included.
5. Flip it
Place your hands inside the loop of hair under your chin.
Keeping your hands flat and fingers together, lift the hair over the top of your head to your crown.
Grasp all the tails in one hand without twisting them.
Carefully place the tied hair at the back of your head.

Use decorative ties to emphasize the style or add tiny clips to them afterwards.
You can adjust the sides so the ties are even, but I prefer this slightly more casual look.
