1. Rubber band number one
Take one rubber band and put it over the base of your sewing machine placing it just past the presser foot. This rubber band will help grip the fabric slightly to keep it straight.
2. Rubber band number two
Take a second rubber band and place it about ¼ inch past the first rubber band. Use this rubber band as a guide to line up your fabric as it passes through the machine.
