Tools and materials:

1. Insert hair extensions

Clip up the top portion of your hair temporarily with a claw clip and insert hair extensions close to the exposed roots.

2. Make a half ponytail and twist 2 sections of hair

Let your hair loose from the clip and then make a small, half ponytail. Grab a small section of hair just beyond your face-framing hair on one side and twist it. Leave out a few inches of hair at the bottom.

With one hand holding the end tightly, pinch at the twist to create more volume.

Make another twist on the other side.

3. Insert the ends of the twists through the hair at the back of your head

Use a tail hair loop to Insert the end through the hair above the hair tie in the back.

Repeat for the other side, crossing it under the first.
