Grab a Chain to Complete This Easy Summer Look
Here’s a great way to incorporate a beautiful piece of jewelry into your scarf top.
You’ll need quite a strong and smooth chain for this, as you’ll be wrapping the scarf through it.
This top is super quick and easy to do, even if you’ve never used a scarf like this before.

Tools and materials:
- Large rectangular scarf
- Heavy chain necklace
- Safety pin or brooch
- Scarf clips (optional)
1. Loop
Wear your necklace, which should be about 18 inches (45 cm) long.
Pass one of the shorter ends of the scarf through the front of the necklace and pull it through so that the scarf is centered.
Make sure the two sides are equal in length.
2. Wrap
Hold the top edges of the scarf out to the side.
Take them under your arms and diagonally down towards your waist.
3. Pin
Use a safety pin or decorative brooch to pin the two edges together at the center of your back at waist level.
Allow the remaining scarf to hang down at the front and back.

You can shape the front and back however you want.
I like to pull them both to the sides and leave them free. However you could hold them at your hips with a scarf clip on each side or pin them to your pants or skirt.
