1. What is a scarf ring?
In case you didn’t know, a scarf ring is a simple accessory that you can draw both ends of a scarf through to hold it in place. For this fashion hack, I am using a double ringed scarf ring, so that I can turn my scarf into a belt.
2. Prepare your scarf
Once you’ve got your maxi dress on, pick up a beautiful coordinating square scarf.
Fold your scarf in half, into a triangle.
Grab the point of the triangle, and the center of the folded edge.
Hold those two points together, and then pull your scarf taught into an oblong belt shape.
3. Add your belt scarf to your dress
Wrap the scarf belt around your waist from front to back.
Now, criss-cross the ends of the scarf behind your back.
And bring the ends back around to meet in front.
4. Secure your scarf belt
Now it’s time to use the scarf ring.
With the two rings connected, put one end of the scarf through the ring farthest from it, and pull the scarf tight.
Then, put the other end of the scarf through the other ring and pull both ends of the scarf tight.
Your secured scarf will look like this.
Now, you can slide the two rings farther apart.
