How to Style Summer Hats
Sun hats can be quite a different accessory to wear as it isn’t very trendy for young people to wear, however I think they look chic and add a touch of elegance to the modern day clothes.
It’s all about finding the perfect style for you, whether that be a floppy hat, a trilby or even a cowgirl hat. Everyone has different face shapes so you just have to try a few different styles on until you find the one best suited to you.
My favourite is the floppy sun hat as it has a big brim so it keeps your face and shoulders shaded which protects you from getting sunburnt.
I love to wear sun hats with all types of dresses, skirts or even linen shorts.
The raffia material on the sun hat would tie well with a straw bag and espadrilles.
You could even wear wear a tan belt and sandals with the white dress as the colours work well together.
Embroidery anglaise dresses look very elegant and I have worn that combination many times.
I often think an embroidered top with black bow detail straps look great with sun hats with a black design on the top. And then with a pair of white linen shorts, preferably Zimmermann, it will look very elegant.
You will look out together, however the outfits themselves won’t be difficult to style.
