How to Create a Unique Pretty Pair of Hair Clips
I had some leftover pretty flower pieces that came in a pack for mosaic project, however I thought they seemed too pretty not to use and show off. I use some hair slide blanks which are easily available online in various sizes.
The next was to see how many I could fit comfortable into the hair slide so I measured and seems three was too many but two would fit well.
I use two part epoxy resin glue.
In two equal sized blobs one hardener and one of resin I use old foil tray and wooden mini spoon to mix through well. As it hardens within minutes I have to spread it quickly onto the hair on ready to stick the roses on.
I hold the pin still as I didn’t want the flowers to slip off and move position. After a couple of minutes they are dried nice and firmly.
I repeat process with some in other colours.
It takes only a few minutes to make a few more slides in various colours and designs.
