I saw these cute little flip flop dangle charms online and thought how fun they’d look as summer fun earrings.

I use round nosed pliers to easily open and close the silver jump rings and make the earrings the length I’d like them to dangle. The rings come in various sizes and you can choose which size you’d like in your own design. Ideally choose a strong good quality type so that your creations stay in tact.

Open the ring

I am repeating the process for the other colour earrings and attaching jump rings quickly and easily. The important thing is to close the gap so there is no overlap to make sure they stay fixed and don’t come off the ring.

Adding the earring hook

This is such an easy process and I make a different colour version too. Online you can find so many charms and little cute things to make your own jewellery with.

They look great for summer sunshine holidays and as well as so light weight to wear.
I prefer to use sterling silver ear hooks as they don’t irritate although you can use any you already have or like. These come in various fixing types but these are simple open and close hooks.

I’m so thrilled how they turned out and such an easy quick look to achieve. Why don’t you have a go!
